Due to a huge increase in silver refining demand, timescales for refining recently extended from 2 weeks to 3 months. Finally, last week, due to severe market dislocations in the silver market, the refiners are now refusing to refine ANY new material for the foreseeable future. As such, we can no longer accept any silver which needs refining. This includes jewellery, cutlery, world coins, 80%, 50% Canadian Junk Silver and 90%, 40% US Junk Silver. We anticipate this is just a temporary measure, but have no firm timescales for this to be resolved as its out of our hands.
