The 1/10th oz gold maple is one of my favourite gold pieces as I worry about the tradability of the full one ounce gold maple if we do suffer a mass global financial meltdown and gold skyrockets as it would in such a circumstance. I also have silver for barter/trade for that purpose. I know fractional gold has a much higher premium but I believe it would still be much more liquid in the instance where gold by the oz is just too large of a denomination of real money.
