Rates below have been updated as all shipments will be sent by UPS until further notice.

WARNING - You must be available at your delivery address to sign for your package.

If you wish to place an order & have it held until shipping rates drop, then please call & we can book it for you.

The below gives an approximate guide to shipping rates. This is for illustration only, and your exact shipping quote will be determined at the time of your order. Illustrative prices below now INCLUDE insurance, but exclude HST, which will be added to your shipment cost.

Please note :-

• Rural locations may require additional charges.
• Shipping under $5000 dispatches once per week (Monday or Wednesday), not on the day we receive payment. You may upgrade to express courier for additional $30.
• Shipping over $5000 dispatches by courier (FEDEX or UPS) within 1 business day of payment received.
• Shipments are NEVER dispatched on Fridays, or before Public Holidays. This is to prevent packages idling in a depot, which increases risk of theft.

Couriers & Packing

We use Canada Post, UPS and Fedex to courier our shipments. We only use new packing boxes, securely sealed. Your order will be inside a second box within the main packaging to deter mail theft. On receipt of your package you should check the outside VERY carefully for any signs of tampering. (We will occasionally use tamper evident tape if a package is heavy). We have not yet had any problems or losses with shipments to clients, but we would hate for you to be the first - so please remain vigilant.

Insurance

All shipments are insured under our precious metals dealers blanket insurance policy with Lloyds of London. Please be aware that even a small claim can take 3-6 MONTHS to settle, and we cannot offer any refunds or replacements until the claim is settled. If there is any damage to your package, we strongly suggest using a cellphone to video the handover of the package from the courier and then open it on camera also. This would help prove the loss was not fraud on your part and expedite any possible claim.

Shipping Items to us.

If you wish to ship items to us for sale, then please take the following steps...

• Your items should be double-boxed (one box inside another), and both boxes secured with strong parcel tape.

• Use packing materials (e.g. styrofoam chips, newspaper) to prevent items from shaking around.
  • Put styrofoam chips or similar in tops of tubes of coins to prevent rattling.
• Heavy items (e.g. 100oz bars) should be especially secured and packed. (Imagine your package being thrown down a flight of stairs, and package accordingly.)
• You may use Canada Post, UPS, Fedex to ship to us - we recommend an overnight service.
  • We also recommend a service which has tracking, and demands signature on delivery.
  • We do not recommend shipping on Thursdays or Fridays as there is a risk packages can sit in a depot over the weekend.
• Include your details on a note with the package. If you wish payment by bank transfer, include a Void cheque, or direct deposit information.
• You should ship to the following address :

• Please email us the tracking number and ETA once you have shipped your item.
  • We open all packages on camera when we receive them

Insurance.

You are unlikely to be able to insure your items through the regular shipping companies. Their limits are typically $1000 per package, and often exclude gold coins/bars from coverage. Essentially you are shipping at your own risk. This is why we emphasize the measures above regarding packing and shipping services.

Finally, if you are packaging thousands of dollars of precious metals, don't be cheap. Use good quality boxes, strong tape and a fast delivery service.
